Turner, Mildred B.Sunday, December 10, 2006
Mildred Beale Turner, age 93, passed away on December 10, 2006. Born in Southampton County she was the daughter of the late Aubrey Frank and Ella Derby Beale and the widow of Charles Herbert Turner, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her son, Herbert Wayne Turner; daughter, Carolyn Turner Lipscomb and brother, Lawson Derby Beale. She is survived by grandchildren, Teresa Perkinson, Robin Garland, Lori Brock, Chris Turner, and Geoff Turner; great grandchildren, Sarah, Rebekah, Daniel, Brittany, Lily, Nathaniel, Hayden and Allen. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 13th at 11 am. Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery in Boykins, VA at 2 pm. Grandma Turner- You gave life to my father and I am forever greatful. We spent a lot of time when we were kids at you & Grandaddy Turner's house and I have a lot of fond memories. Thanks for always being a loving grandmother and for the kind words about my new daughter in a card you recently sent. Also, for giving me pictures of my dad and some other old photos.
