Barbara Ella Ozmar Clarke, 78, of Matoaca died Friday, December 8, 2006 at Riverview on the Appomattox. She was the daughter of the late Valley Thomas Ozmar and Nettie Eugene Smith Ozmar. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. She is survived by daughters, Stacey Rose and Hope Hall; sons, Robert “Butch” Ohmer, Jan Ohmer and Keith MacKrell; granddaughters, Kelly Ohmer, Miranda Hall and Jill Ohmer; grandsons, Bryan Ohmer, Matt Parrish, Gerad Rose, LCPL Damien Hall, Jack Ohmer, Clint Rose, Daniel Hall and Jacob Hall; great-grandchildren, Rhyanna Ohmer, Katelynn Parrish, Michael Hall, Ryan Hall and Matt Parrish, Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Doris Bull, Mary “Agnes” Stewart, R. Gertrude Dickens and Rachel Bailey; brothers, Curtis Ozmar, Thomas Ozmar, James “Tick” Ozmore and Chester “Ninky” Ozmar and a grandson, Ryan Edward Ohmer. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2006 at 7 pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 30 minutes prior to the service. A private burial will be held in East Matoaca Cemetery.
