Condolences

Dear Dale: I just want to let you know that I had known Norman for many years and always was
impressed by his sincerity and easy going manner.
I'm sure he never met a stranger and you and him
were a natural fit. Dot and I have had 53 wonderful years of marriage and it will be hard when either of us leaves the other. Please call
me if there is ever anything I can do. Best regards and good memories.

Dale-
I feel very fortunate to have known Norman and to have considered him a very good friend. He was a wonderful person with strong character and a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by the entire Brooks family. You know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers, and if you need anything please call on us.
Susan & Ernie Brooks and boys.

Normy was my closest childhood friend. He lived three or four doors away from me on Stuart Ave until, at age 10, I moved to Suffolk following the death of my father and remarriage of my mother. Normy visited me there a few times before our lives began taking different directions and we saw very little of each other after our mid-teens. Even though it has been many years since I last talked with him, I'll remember him always. Please accept my sympathy for you and your family.
Sincerely, Lewis

Dear Dale,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of Norman. He was so kind to my husband, Ralph Snead and me, when we moved to Richmond. He was a true Virginian gentleman. Ralph worked with Norman when they were both employed by Steadman and also with you in your tee shirt business. It is never easy to say good bye to the men welove and we were lucky enough to be loved by truly good and kind men. May you and your family be comforted by your memories and God's loving arms.

Sincerely,

Janet Snead
