Doris Young Heathcock, age 72, of Midlothian, VA lost her courageous battle with COPD on December 4, 2006. She was born in Staunton, VA the daughter of the late Joseph and Flora Young. She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Wall of Richmond, VA, Deborah Glenn Harrison and husband Sidney of Chester, VA, M. Christina Floyd of VA Beach, VA, Jennifer Olivia Heathcock of Richmond, Valerie N. Gerbasio and husband John of Moseley, VA; grandchildren, Zoie, Heidi, Kym, Sam, Sid, Whitney, and Enzo; five great grandchildren; sister, Betty Young Manspile of Buena Vista, VA; and three nieces. Funeral services will take place at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home on Friday, December 8, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Jan Prentace officiating.
