Lucietta Riggan Armstrong, 96 born Feb. 7, 1910 in Surry County, NC died at Riverview on the Appomattox Nursing Home, Hopewell, on Tuesday, November 28, 2006. She was the daughter of the late James Thomas and Dora Augusta Riggan. She was the widow of John Maffitt Armstrong from Wilmington, NC. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara A. Janosik (Phil) of Enumaclaw, WA; Jeanne A. Halsey (Ray deceased) of Boulder, CO and Doris A. Rodeck (Doug) of Petersburg, VA; sister, Dorabell R. Bradshaw of New Smyra Beach, FL; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, December 2, 2006 at Brandon Episcopal Church. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
