Csarnogusky, James "Ski"

James “Ski” Steven Csarnogusky 70, of Petersburg died November 28, 2006. He was the son of the late George and Elizabeth Csarnogusky. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army after 21 years of active duty with service in two wars Korea and Vietnam. He was an airborne rigger instructor at West Point, New York and also Fort Lee, Virginia where he retired after 21 years. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Joanne C. Csarnogusky; daughters, Debbie Gormley and fiancé Rod Mustanski of Prince George; Pam Tavel and husband, Mike of Petersburg; son, Kenny Csarnogusky and wife, Terri of St. Pauls, N.C.; five grandsons, Ricky Gormley and wife, Candice of Disputanta; Michael Gormley and wife, Rebecca of Ashburn, VA; Joey Bragg, Jr. and wife, Melissa of Colonial Heights; T.J. Csarnogusky of Petersburg; Zack Csarnogusky of St. Pauls, NC; granddaughter, Chelsea Poole of Petersburg; great grandson, Brayden Gormley of Disputanta; four great granddaughters, Victoria Bragg of Colonial Heights; Abby and Cayla Gormley of Disputanta; Sydney Gormley of Ashburn, VA; two sisters, Sophie Mytrysak of Brush Valley, PA and Mary Brach of Brock, NJ; sister-in-law, Virginia Lazarowicz of Charlotte, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia, VA Friday at 1:00 pm.
