Mitchell, Ruby E.

Ruby Evans Mitchell, 83 of Colonial Heights, died November 27, 2006 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Eugene Heartwell and Ora Sadler Evans. She was the widow of Rufus E. Mitchell. She was retired from Brown & Williamson after 30 years. She is survived by two sons, Phillip Mitchell of Colonial Heights; Mark Mitchell and wife, Karin of Chester; daughter, Lisa Crowder of Chesterfield; six grandchildren, Amanda Mitchell, Christopher Mitchell, Angie Stickel, Jennifer Mitchell, Cory Mitchell and Chad Mitchell; great-grandson, Austin Stickel and great-granddaughter, Nicole Mitchell. The family will receive friends at the residence. Graveside services will be conducted 12:30 pm Thursday at Sunset Memorial Park. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
