Condolences

Alfred brought so much joy to the lives of the Johnson family of Rockville, Va. My fondest memories are of Alfred playing music at Grandma's and Granddaddy's with Granddaddy, Harvey; my Mother, Ruby; Aunt Ruth and other family members. When my Cousin, Joyce Redford Barker and I were youngsters, he took us so many places and treated us with such respect. We laughed a lot and enjoyed life, thanks to Alfred. I'll always remember him as, "Alfalfa", our nickname for him. I hadn't seen him for years, until he came to Mama's funeral a few years ago. Of all the wonderful people attending, his visit meant the most to me, and definitely would have to Mama! Thank God for creating such a good gentleman, who touched and made such a difference in many lives. Alfalfa, you'll always be in our hearts.
