Virginia Wiseman Funk, 85, of Petersburg, passed away Saturday November, 11, 2006 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late William Wiseman and Edith Allen Mayohoffer. She was the widow of Joseph Pryor Funk, Sr., was preceded in death by a son Ruben Clark Funk, and a daughter Shirley Raines. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church since 1941. She is survived by a son Joseph P. Funk, Jr., and his wife, Del, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren with number 11 due in December. There will be a wake service at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation service at 7:00 PM Monday November 13, 2006 with a visitation to follow until 8:30 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday at St Joseph Catholic Church with Father Robert M. Spencer, Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
