Elizabeth,
I am so shocked and sorry to hear of your loss. I have wanted to make contact for years but you know how time passes quickly. I lived in Florida for 7 years and time flew by.
I will be in Mtn. View for Thanksgiving and you and your children will be in my thoughts. My family sends their sympathy as well.
I know the love you had with Gary as I remember the first dates and hay rides. It looks like you built a wonderful family and acomplished many things. Cherish all you have.
You will always be one of my best childhood friends filled with many wonderful memories including Gary. Contact me anytime if you ever need anything.
With sympathy, your friend,
Kara Rosa
Gary's family:
Sitting next to Gary for three years, I learned how much he enjoyed his work, loved his kids and reached out to challenges. Tackling the marathon, I seen Gary's size shrink to a fit and energetic DBA. Everyone was proud of his accomplishment.
Gary was a valuable co-worker who readily shared his knowledge and always had a good sense of humor.
If Gary's kids ever want to hear about their father at work: sixsmiths2002@yahoo.com.
With deep sadness, Gary is in our prayers. Brian and Renee Smith
Elizabeth,
We met briefly a few times, I worked with Gary at Capital One until July of 2005. He was a wonderful co-worker. I am sorry to learn of your loss. You are in my prayers. Sharon Joplin
The Dayberry Family-
Gary will truly be missed by my family. He played a big part in the Thomasson kids' lives. I will always remember the part that he played in helping lead Jared to the Lord. Our whole family is grateful for that. He did a lot for the youth group at Woodlawn. Although I hadn't talked to Gary in about 10 years I will always remember him and love him for what he did for myself and my siblings.
If you need anything (and I know that you have had so many people telling you this) please give me a call, my dad has my number or jot me an email racersgirl203@aol.com.
My family and I are truly sorry for your loss.
Love,
Erin (Thomasson) Showns
It was such a shock for us to learn of the passing of Gary. I worked with him practically daily at Capital One from August 2005 until this past summer, and I wanted all of you to know, and especially his children to know, how much he was liked and valued at work. Many of us were able to attend his funeral where we learned so much about Gary that we didn't know. We knew the most about three things: Arkansas, the Army, and most importantly, his children. It was last Christmas when I helped him find an iPod for one of his daughters that I really saw the love he had. He will be greatly missed as a friend and as a coworker.
Elizabeth and family, I don't know if you remember me or not, but Gary and I play softball and basketball together at Vilonia. I was sorry to hear of his passing. We will keep you all in our prayers. Only the Lord can take us through times like these. Gary was a good man and I know will be missed from all of our lives.
Tim and Tonya Johnson.
Elizabeth and family: I'm sorry to hear about Gary passing away. I don't know if ya'll remember me but I use to babysitt the girls when they were younger. I saw ya'll a few years ago around 4th of July. Your family is so great and I know that Gary will be missed. He was a great guy and I know how much he loved ya'll. I'm sorry I missed the visitation but I didn't know about it until today. If you need anything please let me know. I would enjoy hearing from you.
Dear Elizabeth and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We were so sorry to hear about Gary's passing. He was such a great guy.
With deepest sympathy,
Donna and Carly Ellison
Dear Elizabeth and Family,
We were so deeply sorry to hear about Gary. I just wanted you to know that our women's bible study group here in Germany prayed that God would wrap His arms around you all and carry you through this difficult time.
Riley, this is especially for you: I so enjoyed the Sundays when you came to our Sunday School class. I know how much you love your family and how much your family loves you. I know this is a sad and confusing time right now and I just wanted you especially to know that we are praying for you.
Love in Christ, Paul and Pam Allmon
Dear Elizabeth and family. It pains me to hear of Gary's passing. I was stationed at Ft Lee with Gary and worked on the same project as Gary. I sponsored Gary when he came to Ft Lee and helped him in-process, so you might remember me although that was quite some time ago. After leaving the military in 96, I lost contact with most people of course but this past summer in May or June, I ran into Gary and Hali at Wal Mart. I was very happy to see him again after all those years and he looked great and was happy. I told him maybe we could get together sometime, he said call me, but time passed and that never happened. I wish I would have taken the time to do so. With Gary being the same age as myself, he was only a month older than me and both of us having daughters, his passing really hits home. I'm glad our paths crossed in life, I enjoyed the time we spent together in the Army. May God comfort you and your family.
God Bless you.
Kevin
Elizabeth and family, I'm so sorry to hear about Gary's passing. I played softball and basketball with Gary at the church. He was a good man. May the hand of God comfort you in your time of bereavement.

Elizabeth and children: I'm so sorry to hear about Gary's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I worked in the building next door to Gary when he was in the military and had bumped into him a couple of times over the past few years. He was always so pleasant. With deepest sympathy, Frances Wargofcak
Dear Elizabeth,Hali,Kelsea and Riley,
You are all in our thoughts and prayers. In this great time of loss the only thing that I feel we can do to help is to let you all know that we are thinking of you and know you will find strength through your faith in God. Raven, John and I will always have fond memories of all those long hot swim meets and how this brings not only families together but friends that last forever.
Thinking of you,
Raven,Diana and John Wray

I pray you will be given the peace that surpasses all understanding because of your relationships with Jesus Christ and that God will use this situation to bring about amazing things for His glory. I praise Him for bringing Hali into my life. I love you very much.
Love,
Jamie Wilzewske (& Dave)

Dear Elizabeth and family,
We were so sorry to hear about Gary's passing. I didn't know when the visitation was and am sorry we missed it. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. If you should need anything, please call. I don't know if anyone else from the swim team has contacted you, but I know several of them wished to express their sympathy. My best memory of Gary, is him up at the pool with the children. May God be with you all. Sharon
