Cole, Virginia L.

Virginia Lucille Cole, 87, of Hopewell, widow of Charles W. Cole, passed away Monday, November 06, 2006. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Austin Levy and Maggie Fable Greene. She was a retired employee of Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company, a member of Monumental Baptist Church, and a member of AARP. Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. She is survived by her sons, Charles L. Cole and Darnell, Jerry L. Cole and wife, Frances; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Cole all of Prince George; step-son, Stuart Cole of Maryland; grandchildren, Jerry, Jr., Larry, Patti, Jackie, Gary, Larry Ray, and Stacey; great-grandchildren, Shelia, Dusty, Lindsey, Billy, Wesley, Ashley, Brittany, Kristen, Brian, Jessica, and Travis; sister, June Ellison and husband, Charles of Chesterfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, November 9, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
