Brenda-
I am so very sorry about Poncho. I will remember him as one of the finest men I've ever met. Strong character. Kind. Warm. Remember how he beat all of us at Poker? Quite a guy. My thoughts are with you, and I am reaching out to give you support. Please be well. Be in touch when you next come to Arlington.
Brenda,
We will really miss Poncho. Although we haven't seen him for a while, I have many fond memories of playing with him and against him in numerous tennis tournaments. My favorite story was one time just before a final, he took me into the bathroom and said he had something to show me. He started to pull down his shorts and noticed I was getting uncomfortable. He turned red and said, "no, no, no, I just wanted to show you the bruise I got from falling on the stairs this morning". We were both relieved.....
Brenda&Family,
I want to let you know how sorry am I for your loss. At every Kearney function, I looked for my friend Poncho to kibitz with. We had great conversations on any topic in the world, and we solved it. We told jokes and stories all night long. I really missed him over the past two years when he was fighting the cancer. I knew it was hard for both of you. When I saw Poncho at Cheri's wedding I was so happy to see him again. Even though he could not speak, we kept up our conversations on the board. We did not miss a beat on politics, world events or just plain B.S. I was very touched by his courage and determination to fight the cancer. We had a great time together that day. I will always remember it. He gave it his best, and now he is with the Lord, and no longer suffering. Please accept my sincere condolences. Charlie

Dear Brenda,
As we have not been in touch in the last few years, I was surprised and saddened to read of Pancho's death. We have so many wonderful memories of such fun times together. Pancho's smile could certainly melt a heart and make any trouble seem small.
There are never words that are adequate but the knowledge that the two of you made a lifetime of friends who care for you will hopefully comfort you and your family.
You are surely in our thoughts and prayers.
