Nancy, I worked with Bobby at Metric Constructors. I was in the office, he was on the survey crew. I am also Dianne Bishop's sister. We saw you two at a race cookout at Dianne's a few years ago. I am so sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. Anytime I saw him he was always so nice and friendly. I know that there are no words to ease your pain, but I do hope that you will be alright. Please take care of yourself.

Nancy, I am so very sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. I know you likely don't remember me. I believe I met you many years ago when VDOT built I-295. I have known Bobby and his family for many years. His mother will tell you who I am. I only heard about Bobby and what you've gone through recently. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of Bobby's family. It's hard to give up a loved one, but may the Lord help you and the family find comfort in knowing he is now in a better place. With deepest sympathy.

Dear Nancy,

Please accept my deepest sympathy on your recent loss of Bobby. We lost a good man--you a husband and me a cousin. I remember Bobby and his family coming to Danville to visit our grandparents. He seemed to always have a smile on his face, and I always enjoyed being with him. As we drift apart and have families of our own we tend to lose contact with our families. The last time I saw Bobby was at a family reunion in Richmond. He told me to come visit him and we would go out on his boat. I truly regret not doing this as I know we would have had a great time.

May the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ sustain you during this time.

Those we love are never really lost to us--
we feel them in so many special ways--
through friends they always cared about
and dreams they left behind,
in beauty that they added to our days...
in words of wisdom we still carry with us
and memories that never will be gone...
Those we love
are never really lost to us--
for everywhere their special love lives on.
