I was so sorry to hear about Buck. Mary Lucy called me to tell me the news. I was one of Bucks students at Salem Middle. I will never forget him coming up behind me and taking his fingers and smearing my glasses up. He was a very nice man and a true funny guy. My husband and I both will miss him. Sandy Wheeler

Shelby:
I was saddened to read of Buck's death in yesterday's newspaper. I have many fond memories of Buck at Salem Middle School, where he provided me and other teachers help working out problems with students. He was always willing to take time to listen and provide words of wisdom.
Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Whitney & Family,
Our prayers continue for you, your family and your father's friends. It's so hard to loose a parent, but comforting to know he is home with God. I had friends when I was growing up in Matoaca and I know what a strong community of fellowship they have at Matoaca United Methodist Church. Lean of these friends and find comfort and peace. Mary
Buck's 30 year service with the Kiwanis Club of Chester (1979-1980 Kiwanian-of-the-Year) will never be forgotten. We have lost a truly great man who was so giving to our community.
