Blankenship, Pearl R.

Pearl R. Blankenship, 91, of Chesterfield, passed away Saturday October 28, 2006. She was the daughter of the late William Joseph & Lottie Pearl Orcutt Reed & was predeceased by a grandson Stephen Osterbind. She was the oldest member of Beulah United Methodist Church in Richmond. She is survived by her children; Olivia B. Osterbind and husband, Albert of Gretna, Ileen B. Helm & husband, Douglas of Chester, George C. Blankenship Jr. & wife, Ruth of Staunton, Jeanette B. Newsome of Cary NC., Connie B. Swineford of Ashland, sister; Lois R. White and husband, Beverly of Saluda, 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great- great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service today from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted Monday October 30, 2006 at 1: 30 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Virginia.
