Dreama Perkey Ozmar, 77 of Petersburg, died Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born in Roderfield, W. VA to the late Theodore Roosevelt and Maude Evelyn Russell Perkey. She is survived by her husband, Lovel B. Ozmar, Jr.; brother, Gregory Dean Perkey of MD; sister, Joan Sumpter of CA; two sons, Lovel Bolling Ozmar, III and wife, Susan; Gregory Perkey Ozmar and wife, Linda; three grandchildren, Morris Ryan Ozmar of MD, Christopher Scott Ozmar of VA, Amber “Michelle” Ozmar Dickens and husband, Thomas of FL, and Kristin Milton of VA. Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 pm Monday, October 30, 2006 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Southside Virginia Emergency Crew, P.O. Greg,

I can't honestly remember if I ever met your mother or not but I was saddened by her loss because of my long term friendship with you. Times like this are always difficult and there are no words that can ease the pain. Losing a parent is very difficult, no matter the situation. I hope you and your family find peace by whatever means necessary. My sympathy goes out to all of you. Also, Greg, thank you for everything you did for me when I first started in law enforcement, 20 years ago.
