Ellen Claire Wright, 55, of Hopewell died Monday, October 16, 2006 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Appleton, WI. Ms. Wright was a transcriber with Colonial Orthopedics. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Pruess and a sister, Cathy Pruess. Ms. Wright is survived by her daughter, Kimberly W. Hamilton and her husband Mark, four grandchildren, Anthony Don Park, II, Samantha Michelle Park, Summer Joleen Hamilton, Timothy Bryce Hamilton, all of Disputanta, her mother Magdalen Otte Pruess of Hilbert, WI, two sisters, Karen P. Peterson of WI, Donna P. Moyers of IL, four brothers, Larry Pruess, Bob Pruess, Dan Pruess and Ken Pruess, all of WI. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 18, 2006 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Gene Balance of Faith Baptist Church, Colonial Heights, officiating. Interment will be in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George County. Condolences may be registered with www.jtmorriss.com

Kim, I was so sorry to hear about Ellen. I have so many fond memories of the time that you all stayed with us when you first moved to Virginia. Your mom was a very special person and will be missed by many. Please note that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
