Condolences

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Eddie's illness and passing. Eddie was my first love and has held a special place in my heart for almost 30 years. Debbie and Carolyn - I wish I had known about the service in time to attend and to tell you how very sorry I am for your loss. I have a picture of Eddie in my mind with that sly little smile of his. Every time I get a flash of it, it makes me smile too. I know it will be a long time, but I'm sure that one day in the distant future, when something causes you to think of Eddie, quite unexpectedly, a smile will make it across your face too to replace the tears. Until that time, I will be thinking of you and praying for you and yours. Again, I am so terribly sorry.

I wanted to make it to the visitation, but unfortunately could not.

I remember fondly Eddie and the skating rink. It seems that Eddie, Jody, Teresa, Terri, Donny, Scott, Mike, Jimmy and I were inseparable. Too many good times to write about.

My thoughts and prayers are with all that grieve for Eddie.

I have many good memories of Eddie while he worked at Scientific Atlanta. We worked together for several projects with never a cross word and many good conversations.

My thoughts and prayers to all he leaves behind, but remember you can be united again with him through Jesus Christ.

For all who knew and loved Eddie who dated my daughter some 20 years ago. We no longer kept in touch but your photo is still in my album and my husband, George, and I (who were also dating at the time) often think of the fun we had together. Good memories - we have them.
Love to all,
George and Anne

Debbie,

You may remember me, I was a student at Petersburg High School with you and Eddie. I am so sorry to hear of Eddie's passing and wanted to convey that to you and your family. It saddened me greatly to read his obituary in the Richmond Times Dispatch.

I have many fond, funny memories of the times we shared in various classes together, and just this morning, I was reading what Eddie wrote in my PHS year book. Looking at his picture brought back a lot of happy memories of our school days.

I have thought about you both over the years and wanted you to know I will always remember Eddie and his smile and the good times we shared in school.

God bless you, your family, Eddie's children and all that grieve his loss. I will always remember him fondly.

Sincerely,
Donna Beasley Jarvis
