Brown, Maude W.Friday, October 06, 2006
Maude Whitlock Brown, 92, of Colonial Heights died Friday, October 6, 2006. She was a native of Emporia and daughter of the late James Russell and Betty Blanche Whitlock. She was the widow of Leonard Epes Brown, Sr. She is survived by her son, Leonard Epes Brown, Jr. and wife Glenda; granddaughters, Kimberly Brown Kinzie and husband, Scott and Stephany Marie Brown; grandson, Leonard Epes Brown, III; great grandchildren, Jennifer Ann Davis and husband, Kevin, Michael Lee Gibbs and Christine Nicole Brown; great-great grandchildren, Devin, Kirsten, Allyson Davis and Mackenzie Harris and other family members, Michael Murphy and Heather Kenzie, Skip Alexander and Tracey Alexander. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, October 9, 2006 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery. Condolences may be made to www.jtmorriss.com. Condolences
Leonard Epes and Family, Mike and I are in Pinehurst, N.C. and Doris and Jim were out of town this weekend so we have just learned tonight of Maude's passing. What a wonderful, full life she led, and we send our sincere sympathy to you and your family.
