My heart and prayers go out to you and your family during your time of sorrow. I was fortunate to have had the chance to meet Beanie and laugh at his sense of humor. I only knew Mr. Childs for a short period, but he was such a gracious patient. He always had a kind word and a smile on his face when I took care of him at the hospital. He was so lucky to have such a loving and supporting family in his time of need. We appreciate all of the help they provided in his care. Our sympathy goes out to his family and friends during this time and I will keep you in my prayers.

Bean Man was definitely one of a kind. He was a funny, kind, good hearted soul who always made you laugh. My Dad, Bill Humphries was very sick for many years, and he had many bad days, but if Beanie came over to visit my Dad would never stop smiling and laughing, and Beanie would make us all feel so much better. He was a dear friend of my family's and all who knew him are better for it. My thoughts and prayers are with Brian and Darryl, may we all have comfort in knowing Beanie is in a better place.

My heart goes out to you, I didn't know him personally, but my brother Donald Tross will miss talking and visiting with him. He always shared with me about Beanie.
You never forget loved ones.

Knew Beanie for over sixty years and the worst thing I can say about him is how bad he spoiled Scrapperdog. I stopped in on him a while back and Beanie was eating Cheerios and Scrapperdog was eating Ukrop's fresh roasted chicken.

Beanie loved his family and PHS reunions (anybody's). Looking forward to seeing him again someday .

I will certainly miss seeing "Mr. Beanie " in Ukrops at 7am on Wednesday mornings!!!! He would always "tease" me about one thing or another! He would always have a story to tell me that would make me laugh and make my day! My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Take care!
