Condolences

Dennis,
I know it has been a few years since we have spoken but I do think of all the good times we had hanging out from time to time. Not forgetting "Big Lou" when going in and out of her home on Matoax. I do hope you and Mickey are doing well. Unfortunatly I live out of state now in Florida so I was not be able to attend the services but I want you to know that I am thinking of all of you.

Dennis,

Just a few words of sympathy for you, Mickey & girls to let you know how sorry we were to learn of your mother's passing. We know all too well that it just takes time overcome the grief you are enduring. Bob's mother passed away in December and Kirk left us in July 2005. Many days have gone by and it still seems unreal, although each day gets a little better. Please know your are in our thoughts and prayers.
Our sympathy,
Bob & Holly

Dennis,
53 years ago. I was 3 years old when we moved to 1910 Matoax Avenue. You and Bill were the first kids I ever played with besides Ronnie who would have been 2. Your mom was the first lady I ever knew besides my own mom. They were both dedicated nurses and the finest mom's anyone could ever have as nurses usually were back in the day.
I was too young to know how to address a grown lady so I'd just yell, "Dennis' Mom!" through the screen door to ask if you culd come out and play.
I was saddened to learn of Louise's passing this morning and wish I could be there Thursday to say goodbye and to see what you Mickey, Amanda and Ashley look like after 26 years. After the tears had dried, you and I could go to Charlie's, order 2 icewaters, add a little Ancient Age (just one, girls) and cruise the country roads to Carson and back.
Be certain I'm having one in her memory tonight and remembering the good old days in Petersburg and your sweet mom.
With deepest sympathy,
Tommy Thomas

I know it is so very hard and sad to lose our Mother. I remember how we always referred to her in our conversations as 'Mom'. I hope your memories of 'Mom' will comfort to you. While there's nothing I can say that will ease your loss, I wanted you to know I am grieving with you and thinking of you. Let me know of anything that I can do.
