Bobby Joe Litton, age 71, of Chester, VA, went to be with the Lord Monday, August 28, 2006. He was a retired Richmond Police Officer and member of Calvary Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. Mr. Litton was the son of the late Ernest and Ruth Bird Litton. He is survived by his wife, Betty Phillips Litton of Chester; one daughter, Kimberly Prevette of Chester; one son, Robert Michael Litton of Prince George, VA; one brother Richard A. Litton of Cumberland, VA; three grandsons, Allen, Andy, and Chris; and four great-grandchildren. A visition will be held at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield on Wednesday, August 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will follow on Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park of Chester. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions are made to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund at 17001 Jefferson Davis Highway Colonial Heights, VA 23834. Dear Betty,
It has been yrs. since I have talked to you, but I saw the obituary in the paper of your husband, and I felt I needed to express my sympathy to you and your family.
We worked together at Dupont in the Power House, yrs. ago. I live in Burkeville now. I wanted to give you a call, but I did not know your phone no.
I am sorry to hear about Bob. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of loss.
