Joyner, Mae B.Tuesday, August 29, 2006
Windsor, VA Mae B. Joyner, age 76, died Monday, August 28, 2006. Born in Isle of Wight County, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. & Anna Cobb Braswell. She was a member of Woodland United Methodist Church and attended Tucker Swamp Baptist Church.. Mae had retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Obici Hospital in Suffolk. She is survived by her husband Tom Joyner; a son, R. Emry Rhodes, Jr. (Nancy), of Richmond; a daughter Grace R. Royster (Danny), of Amelia; a brother, Charles M. Braswell of Windsor; a sister, Elizabeth A. Hobbs of Spring Grove; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, on Thursday, Aug 31, 2006 at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
