Elizabeth G. Moran age 76 of Colonial Heights passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bernard V. Moran, Jr.; daughter, Patricia Moran Longerbeam and her husband Orville;, son, Michael Patrick Moran and his wife Melanie; five grandchildren, Anne Marie Longerbeam, Paul Thomas Longerbeam, Megan Moran, Michelle Moran and Mallory Moran; four sisters, Mary L. Fellencer, Patricia A. Hogan, Gretchen Greismer and Alma M. Kenneth; one brother, William F. George. Mrs. Moran was originally from Allentown, PA. She was a graduate of St. Genevieve’s College in Asheville, NC. She was a dedicated secretary/bookkeeper at St. Joseph’s School in Petersburg for 29 faithful years and was a longtime active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 21 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Robert Spencer, celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. A Christian Wake service will be held 7:00 P.M. Sunday, at the church.
