Hazel Jean Roberts age 67 of Dewitt died Tuesday, August 8, 2006. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lena May Roberts. She is survived by four sons, John, Randy, Jeff and Joseph Roberts; step-son, James Kairnes, Jr.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; special friend and companion, Alvin “Slab” Harrell and his son, John Temple and many other family and friends. A memorial service will be held 1:30 P.M. Thursday, August 10 at Rocky Run United Methodist Church, 14925 Glebe Rd., Dewitt. The family will receive friends after the service at the Dinwiddie Moose Lodge, 7212 Boydton Plank Road. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
