Blackburn, Randolph D.

Randolph David Blackburn, 50, of Sutherland, VA. passed away Tuesday, August 08, 2006 at his residence. He was a hard worker who was employed by Honeywell for 32 years. He loved his family and was the best friend and husband anyone could ever ask for. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Marie Blackburn of Sutherland; his parents, Hughie D. and Evelyn Banton Blackburn of Chester, VA; four brothers, Hughie D. Blackburn Jr. and wife Linda of Colonial Heights, VA; Carlton D. Blackburn of Richmond, VA; Quinton D. Blackburn and wife Theresa of Chester, VA.; Ronald S. Blackburn of Richmond; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 10, 2006 from 7– 8:30 P M at Chester Chapel of J T Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of where services will follow on Friday, at 10:00 A M. with the Rev. Randal Aldred of the Courts of Praise Church officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Courts of Praise Ministries 7211 Ironbridge Road Richmond, Va. 23234. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

Uncle Hughie, Aunt Evelyn and Family,

I am so sorry for your lost. I am praying that God will be with you through this time of pain and sorrow. The days ahead will be hard, but always remember you can do all things through Christ who strengthes you. My love and prayers are with you all.
