Louis E. Webb, Sr., 75, of Hopewell, Virginia, died August 3, 2006 in Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born in Spray, NC. and was a retired S/Sgt. with the U. S. Army during the Korea War and the Vietnam Conflict.
Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his parents, James A .and Maggie Gaulding Webb. Surviving are his wife, Sylvia W. Webb, daughter, Rose Marie Webb, two sons, Louis E. Webb, Jr .and James m. Webb, grandchildren, Cody L. Webb and Heather Lyn Webb, three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, August 7, 2006 from 7-8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Cremation Service. A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 10 2006 in Overlook Cemetery, Eden, N.C.Condolencesa may be registered with www.j t morriss.com

Louis and family,

We are real sorry for the sudden passing of your dad. Although we were not able to be there for the family night with you, we were able to go to the funeral home and pay our respects. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
