Janet Shelor Minter, 73, of Petersburg, VA, died Friday, July 21, 2006 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Leonard C. and Ethel McGuire Shelor formerly of Martinsville, VA., and the wife of Malory D. Minter. In addition to her husband, Janet is survived by an aunt, Virginia Shelor of Meadows of Dan, VA and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Sunday, July 23rd from 7 to 8:30 pm. A funeral service will be on Monday, July 24th at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
