Myers, Mildred J.Thursday, July 20, 2006
Mildred J. Myers (Millie) died July 20, 2006 after an extended period of illness. She was the daughter of the late Floyd C. and Lola Temple Myers. She was a resident of Alexandria. She was a very successful realtor in the Northern Virginia area for 22 years. She is survived by her brother Kenneth E. Myers of Scotsdale, AZ, two nephews, Eric H. Myers of Scotsdale, AZ and Bradley R. Myers of Los Angeles, CA and an aunt Olga W. Myers of Colonial Heights. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 22nd at 3PM at Blandford Cemetery. While flowers are appreciated, you may make a contribution to your local Humane Society in her memory. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. I graduated with Millie and spent the week of graduation with her at Virginia Beach. I considered her my friend and, even though I had lost contact with her, I was quiet sad to read of her death. My mind has constantly drifted back to those days at PHS and the many visits to her home. I had no idea she was ill. I was unable to attend the funeral, but I did visit her grave on Sunday.
