Bell, Genevieve B.Sunday, July 16, 2006
Genevieve Barbara Bell, age 71, died on July 16, 2006. Genevieve enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, and collecting Cubie Dolls. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Bell of Chester, VA; three children, Raymond J. Bell of Chester, Brenda A. Strange of Chester and Wayne Bell of Southgate, MI; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chesterfield J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service where a funeral services will follow on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will also be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Quantico National Cemetery. I remember her as my Grandma, however it was for such a short time. We were not related by blood, but with love. I was very young when she was in my life. I went to live with my father in Md. and didn't see her for about 15 yrs. I don't remember alot from my time with her, but I do remember the love that she gave me. Even after 15 yrs., she still thaught of me as her grandchild. My time with her was limited because of distance and I will forever wish that I gave her more of myself. I spent time with her shortly before she passed, but I didn't tell her how much I loved her. I will always regret that.
