Lorraine Clarke Freeman, 85, of Lawrenceville, died Saturday, July 15, 2006 in Colonial Heights. She was a former Elder and President of Women of Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church and Past President of Lawrenceville Garden Club. She is survived by her husband, Everette E. Freeman, Jr.; daughter, Barbara F. Ragsdale and husband, Dr. John R. Ragsdale, III of Petersburg; son, Worthington H. Freeman and wife, Judi of Colonial Beach, Virginia; grandchildren, Austin and Ashley Ragsdale, Cheri Thomlinson, Hope Philbrick and Bradley Freeman; 11 great-grandchildren and a sister, Inez Whitmore of Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Monday, July 17th from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, July 18th at 2 pm. Interment will be private. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
