Cox, Mary L.

Mary Louise Cox, age 76, of Richmond, VA died Saturday, July 15, 2006. Mrs. Cox was the daughter of the late Ben A. and Bessie Capps Mozingo. She was born in Johnson County, NC and raised in the Four Oaks and Smithfield, NC area. She had been a member of Kingsland Baptist Church of Richmond for 13 plus years. Mary is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert L. Cox of Richmond; two sons, Robert D. Cox and wife Toni of Palmyra, VA and Danny E. Cox and wife Angela of Mechanicsville, VA; one grandchild, Kristen R. Cox of Mechanicsville; two sisters, Estelle Price of Richmond, and Doris Martin and husband Allen also of Richmond; a sister-in-law, Peggy Mozingo of Richmond; and three dear friends, Alberta Pierce, Kay Spivey, and Alice Jones. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield on Monday, July 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
