Blankenship, Elsie B.Saturday, July 15, 2006
Elsie Byrd Blankenship, 93, of Petersburg died Saturday, July 15, 2006. She was a native of Victoria born the daughter of the late Walter and Glen Anderson. Mrs. Blankenship was the widow of D’Arcy “Buster” Blankenship. She is survived by her children, Joe Blankenship and wife, Annette of Chester, Jerry Blankenship and wife, Nancy of Midlothian, Jackie Cross and husband, Robert of Richmond and Dee Blankenship and wife, Linda of Colonial Heights; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Monday, July 17th at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will be private. im an employee at Col.Hghts. HealthCare Center. i work in the activity dept. i remember your mother as a very sweet lady.
