John C. Southerland, was a gentleman and a fine individual. I shall always remember his kind, compassionate and sensitive nature. I have fond memories of the times I was in his presence, although be it so long ago. I will always be appreciative of having known such a genuine person, better known to me as “Sud”.

Sud’s Brother-in-Law,
Steve Edwards

To the Southerland family,
I am so sorry to hear about Suds passing. In our times of loss we can take comfort in our memories of our loved ones and the knowledge that they have gone to be with our Lord. I have nothing but fond memories of Suds. He was a good man and someone I am proud to have known.
He will surely be missed.
