Smith, Mary

Our beloved mother, Mary Watral Smith, 88, of Hopewell, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 9, 2006 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Majestic, KY and was the daughter of the late Frank and Cornelia Watral and the widow of Rush E. Smith. She was a member of Tri-City Church of Christ. She is survived by four daughters, Sandra S. Jeffreys, Susie S. Almarode and Joan S. Thompson all of Hopewell and Rena S. Smith of Hutchinson, KS; a son, Russ E. Smith of Hopewell; one sister, Frona W. Hunt of Toledo, Ohio; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. The family is being served by J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Hopewell.
