Thomas Jackson Banton, 82, of Prince George died Monday, July 3, 2006 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice B. Banton, two daughters, Jewellyn B. Graham (Marty), Phyllis B. Hayden, (Warren), grandchildren, Kristofer Harlowe, (Samantha), Emily Brooks (Pete), Terry Harlowe (Ashley), Allison Hanvey (Jimmy), Great Grandchildren, Mikayla and Alexander Harlowe, Casper & Weasley, a brother, Wilbert Banton (Margot), two sisters, Cora Boon, Evelyn Blackburn (Hughie) and his mother-in-law, Emma Bryant. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 5, 2006 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Scottsville Cemetery, Scottsville, VA at 2:30 PM.
