Foster, Mary P.

Mary Pelc Foster, 89, of Colonial Heights, died Monday, June 26, 2006 at Colonial Heights Health Care Center. She was born in Chesterfield County, daughter of the late Anton Pelc and Sena Stech Pelc. She was predeceased by her husband, John Robert Foster; her sister, Annie Pelc Smith; brothers, Tony, Roger and Joe Pelc. Mrs. Foster was a member of West End Baptist Church, Petersburg. She is survived by her devoted children; daughter, Shirley F. Hunt, her husband, Tommy; son, Bernard V. Peto, his wife, Bobbie of Chester; loving granddaughters, Lynne Peto Gwaltney and husband, Kevin of Acworth, GA, Diana and Leslie Hunt of Chester; beloved great-granddaughter, Emma Gwaltney of Acworth; niece, Seona Turner; great-nieces, Seona Marie Turner, Linnett Fortner and great-nephew, Freamon Turner; special cousins, Anne Valenta and Florence Rochelle of Petersburg; and close friends, Cindy Hendrick and Pauline Kirchoff. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Blandford Cemetery with the Rev.
