Dear Aldean and family,

We are sorry about Bill's death and apologize for not being with you. I (Pat) went to the nursing home last night, and Bertha is holding up well. Although Bill has been sick a long time and it's taken it's toll on you, his loss cannot be minimized. You have our deepest sympathy.

Love,
Sam and Pat
