Sarah Womack Lush went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2006. She had been a resident at John Keever Solace Center and Flesher Family Home in Asheville, NC. Sarah was a generous and loving mother and grandmother that worked hard to care for her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Earnest and Laura Womack, and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Burton, all of Chester, VA. Surviving are two daughters, Vivian Steck of Chester and Jewel Albaugh of Asheville, NC; three sons, Cliff Bartle of Washington, NC, Gill Bartle of Powhatan, VA, and Boe Freeland of Cumberland, VA; one nephew, Wayne Burton Jr. of Richmond, VA; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday, June 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Chester.
