Condolences

You folks have been in our thoughts and prayers many times since we last saw you just about a year ago. It was a sweet summer day our families spent together, with much laughter, music, and fond memories of days gone by. It seemed as if time slowed down just a little so that we could all savor each moment. What I will always remember most from that day is that last firm farewell handshake from Butch. I knew then that it might be the last one we shared this side of Heaven. I look forward to the same as a joyous greeting someday in God's presence. Until then, we share your tears, Betsy, Neil, and family.

Our prayers go out to Butch's beloved wife Betsy, and his family. We are truly sorry for your loss, and we want you to know that we are here if you need anything. Butch has always been a wonderful, caring, and loving man in our community. He always went out of his way to help his friends and neighbors when they were unable to help themselves. A kind word and a smile always welcomed us in his presence. The delightful gift on earth that he was to us and everyone that knew him is now an angel in heaven. We feel blessed to have known him, and he will be dearly missed.

Butch was a good person. I am glad that we were friends for the last 45 years. He will be missed within the community as well as by his family. We do not know what God has planned in our lives but for some reason he felt that he needed Butch to be with him. I am sure Earl, my
deceased husband, and Butch are just talking about a lot of things now that they are together.

Amos, where do I begin? It's been quite a party and you definitely livened it up. You set the standard for what a Christian should be and how we all should live. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of your family and many many friends. I'm going to miss you.
