Thomas H. “T. Red” Harrison, 85, died Saturday, June 3, 2006 at his home in Dinwiddie County. He was the elder son of the late Thomas Edwin and Ruth B. Harrison. A bachelor, lifelong farmer and owner of Plainview Farm, he is survived by his brother, Marvin Greenway and wife Hontas K. Harrison of Crewe. He was a devoted uncle to his two nieces Pat Taylor and husband Vince of Crewe, Diane Rogge and husband Chris of Midlothian and nephew Tommy Harrison and wife Donna of Dinwiddie. In addition he leaves behind six treasured great-nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at 11 AM at the Goodwyn Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday, June 5th from 7 to 8:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Bon Secours, St. Mary’s Hospice, 8580 Magellan Parkway, Richmond, VA 23227. On line condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
