Miss Betty Joan Caricofe, 74, of Hopewell, died Sunday, May 28, 2006, at Riverview on the Appomattox. Miss Caricofe was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Earnest and Grace Minshew Caricofe. Surviving are a sister, Nancy C. Bump of Dobson, NC, and a brother Earnest Jere Caricofe of Chester, A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2006, at 3 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, with The Rev. Troy Kaichen officiating. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Condolences may be registered with www.jtmorriss.com Condolences
