Laverne Goodlett Frazier, 81, of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Hopewell, died May 25,2006. Mrs. Frazier was born in Bastrop, Texas. She was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star Adah Chapter #7.She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen D. and Esther Dunks Goodlett, her husband Thomas Cecil Frazier. Surviving are two daughters, Deborah F. Campbell of Suffolk, Va. And Dr. Janet F. O “Brien of Marietta, Georgia. The family will receive friends Monday evening May 29, 2006 from 7-8#0 pm in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Condolences
Dear Janet and Deborah, Saddened to hear that your mother had such a brief visit to Marietta. I am sure that some are saying she and Tom are riding their bikes together again. Whenever I am describing the 3500 block of W Broadway to new neighbors I still tell them that former residents of the house on the corner loved to ride their bikes around town.
