Dear Uncle Rudy,
I was very sad to hear of Aunt Tina's passing, but very grateful that she is now at peace with the Lord. My mom always keeps me up to date with the family since we live so far away, but I always feel at home when I hear the family news. You are in my prayers and I love you! Take care...I know that you will miss her very much.
Love, Laura Jean
Uncle Rudy and Hotz family,
We were deeply saddened when my mom called and told us that Aunt Tina had passed away. I will cherish our talks with her whether we were taking a break from baling hay or picking up pears from under the fruit trees. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time and are sorry that we could not be in Virginia. Take care.
Uncle Rudy,
What a blessing you both have been to each other, and so many others for so many years. What an inspiration and example you've set for us all. Aunt Tina will truly be missed, and remembered with warmest thoughts. Being with you two always felt like being at home, safe and sound. We love and admire you both. I know that God has a special garden all ready for his newest angel to tend. I pray you will find comfort in knowing that Aunt Tina is with our Lord.
Love to you and you family,
Tom Slate, Judy, Lara & Noah
Hi Pat & Fran, When Betty stopped by Friday to drop off a picture, she told me about your mom. I was shocked and sad to hear the news. I missed them at St Johns picnic the 20th, but glad I spoke with them at Sacred Hearts picnic. Know that my thought are with you all, take care, Jenny Blaha Jones (Theresa Vinsh and Louis John Blahas oldest daughter).
My heart goes out to you and your family on the loss of Christine. May your wonderful memories sustain you during this difficult time.
Dear Uncle Rudy, Patsy, Mary Frances, Billy and David,
My sister, Phyllis, called me this morning to say that Aunt Tina had died. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I last saw you and Aunt Tina at your home several years ago when Uncle Rudy had just been diagnosed with prostate cancer. We had a great visit on the back porch remembering people and places from long ago days. Aunt Tina filled us in on the events in each of your lives with great love and pride. I remembered that my cousins had taken me to a CYO dance at St. Anne's one summer when we were teenagers.
I also remember that I left with a watermelon from her garden and a warm hug.
My father, Joe, always spoke of his baby sister with affection and I know that she will be laid to rest beside him at St Joseph's Cemetery. Although the distance will keep me from being there, my family will hold you in our hearts and prayers all through this Memorial Day Weekend.
Should any of you find yourselves visiting the Alamo, know that you (all generations) would always be welcome at the O'Rourkes.
Love,
Suzie Reiter O'Rourke
