Vaughan, Joyce F.Monday, May 15, 2006
Joyce Fran Vaughan 63, of Carson passed away peacefully at her home Monday May 15, 2006. Joyce was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Prince George. She was the daughter of the late Charles W. & Gladys Wray Smith. She is survived by her husband Edward J. (Red) Vaughan, two sons, Charles E. Vaughan & wife Wanda of Prince George County, Warren E. Vaughan & wife Virginia of Sussex County, grandchildren, C.J. Vaughan, Ashley Nicole Vaughan both of Prince George County, Tammie Lynn Vaughan, of Sussex County, Heather Renee Vaughan of Sussex County, Erica Christine Vaughan of Sussex County, five great-grandchildren, and numerous aunts and nieces. The family will receive friends tonight at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 7:00-8:30 PM. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday May 18, 2006 at 1:00 PM in Southlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Gary Sims officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com Condolences

I would like to share one of my favorite scriptures. Psalm 23: The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul. he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
