Rathbone, Charlie

Charlie Rathbone, 78, of Dinwiddie, VA, died Saturday, May 6, 2006 at his home. He was a native of Marshall, N.C. and was the son of the late Will and Lola Nash Rathbone. He was retired with 31 years of service from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pauline Moore Rathbone; one son, Stanley Rathbone and Debbie Sanderson; three daughters, Lola Holley and husband, George, Dolores Selden and husband, Donald, Patricia Hayes and husband, Donald; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren all of Dinwiddie County; a brother, Troy Rathbone of Richmond, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Burial will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 8, 2006 from 7 to 8:30 pm. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

Polly Just to let you know that we are thinking of you at this time.I have a lot of good memories of Charlie and Polly and I hope for the best from my family to yours.If you are ever back in Knoxviile look me up in the phone book. I live just above the old home place on Harris road.
