Clark, William

Mr. William Theodore Clark, 62, of Hopewell, died Sunday, April 30, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Clark was born in Buena Vista, Virginia. He was a retired driver for UPS, a veteran of the United States Navy serving in Vietnam, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Clark was the son of the late Marvin Lee Berry. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Carol Jean Clark of Hopewell; two sons Barry Dean Clark and wife, Tina, of Chester and William Russell Clark of Hopewell; a daughter, Julianna Ray Clark of Hopewell; his mother Marjorie B. Berry of Glasgow, Virginia; four grandchildren, Abbie Taylor Clark and Whitney Ann Clark both of Chesterfield, and Nathan Dean Clark and Amon Lee Clark both of Hopewell; two brothers, Don Michael Clark and Marshall Ray Clark both of Roanoke; 21 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with The Rev. Michael Honaker, officiating. Mr. Clark will be transferred on Thursday, May 4, to the Bowling-Grose Funeral Home in Buena Vista, Virginia for visitation from 12 to 1:00 p.m. Following visitation, a graveside service will be held. in Green Hill Cemetery , Buena Vista, Virginia. I am so sorry to hear that your husband and dad has passed away. I have such great memories of spending time with your family when I was a teenager. Bill, you were my first real boyfriend and you will always have a special place in my heart. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Carol,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have such wonderful memories of you and Bill. Both of you were always so kind to me. My heart aches for Barry, I know how much he loves his father and what a close family you are. I know Bill will be deeply missed.
