Dear Evelyn and Family,
Mrs. Dick called to tell me about Bob's death. I am so sorry. I have many fond memories of growing up next to the Hall family...of babysitting "little" Hall's. I know you all will miss his physical presence, but he will always be with you in spirit. I lost my husband, Ben, last May to a rare bone marrow disorder. With faith, we know where our loved-ones are and Who they are with.

Evelyn,
We were so saddened to see of Bob's passing in the paper. We haven't seen you since many years ago when we were vacationing at Pirate's Cove. I am sorry to send a note to you via computer instead of handwritten, but I no longer have a current address for you. I especially thought of you this spring when the azaleas in front of the house and back yard of Bill and Carol Jacobs bloomed so magnificently. I remember when you labored over planting them all! They have kept up your house well with painting and a new roof in the last year. You and Bob were such gracious neighbors and I know he is truly home now. May God comfort and sustain you.
Fondly,
Wayne and Claudia Diehl
My deepest sympathy to the entire Hall family. I know this is a difficult time for all of you, but knowing that Bob is at peace and with God will give you the strength in the days ahead. I remember your family with fondness, although I haven't seen you all in years. I know Bob had a very accomplished career and was quite an inspiration to Dad. As a child, I remember his personal demeanor and very positive attitude. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
My Dear Evelyn, How do I even begin to speak of my sorrow this day? No one save my dear grandmother who took me in and raised me as her own has touched my life so profoundly as my hero, Bob Hall. When I joined the Equitable in 1970, I was the first agent Bob hired in Charleston, WV and I came to his fresh from Vietnam and wondering if life had any meaning at all. He convinced me that I was worthwhile and could accomplish anything if I but believed that honest
hard work was always rewarded. He forced me to do the things that failures did not like to do and sent my life as well as the lives of my wife Sandy and our sons on a path that would lead to success and the sure knowledge that God was still in control of the lives of those who accepted Jesus as savior. He taught me more about life and the importance of the law of give to get than any other person I have ever known. I always knew he was there for me no matter what. The world will never be the same for me knowing that he is no longer here. I have often spoken in my prison ministry of the man who made me belive in myself. He walks with God today and heaven is a better place for his presence. Dan Turley

There are so many, many wonderful things I could say regarding Mr. Hall. I loved working for him at the Hall Agency in Charleston, WV. I always enjoyed being able to put something in the "Pacemaker" when he & Mrs. Hall would go on a trip. He truly was good to his agents and Agency staff. My thoughts and prayers go with you Mrs. Hall and your family. May God bless you. I'm very sure the Lord has a special place in Heaven for Mr. Hall.

Everyone here at the AXA Equitable Charleston office would like to offer our deepest sympathies. Alhtough I never met Bob personally, I have heard a lot about him from Bob Hurley and Joe Funderburk and through them they have painted the picture of a truly exceptional man who will be greatly missed.

Evelyn and family: My wife and I remember the good days of the Equitable/Bob Hall relationship in Charleston, WV. Bob was my Agency Manager when I joined Equitable in 1977. His leadership was top-notch. I often quote some of this "one-liners"----Bob was a class act. Please know that Debbie and I share in the loss of a true friend. Regards, Jeff and Debbie Welshonce, Elkins, WV
My deepest sympathy to the entire Hall Family. I worked for Bob Hall when he was Agency Manager in Richmond and he was the greatest boss for anyone to work for. He really cared about his employees. There were many years that my children were able to have a good Christmas because of Mr. Hall's generous gift to me. He and Mrs. Hall were kind, caring people. When they went away on trips, we couldn't wait for them to return to see what gifts they had bought us. If you ever needed anything, you could go to Mr. Hall, and you were sure he would help. The world has lost a great person.
Page and I wish to express our sincere condolences to Evelyn and the Bob Hall family. We will really miss him. Bob has meant a lot to my family. The years I worked with Bob at the Richmond Agency were some of the best years I have enjoyed. My family will never - ever forget Bob's kindness and generosity. Thanks Bob for all that you did for us.
Evelyn, Brenda, Mark and Family:
Kay and I share our sympathies with you in your earthly loss, but rejoice with you in heaven's gain.
Knowing Jesus as Lord and Savior gives strength to the family in that it's not a 'Goodbye, ' but rather a 'So long, see you later.'
During this parting time, the Holy Spirit within will give comfort, peace, power, and assurance that all is well with Bob and that all will be well with you as you call upon His name.
Blessing with our love;
Dewey & Kay
