Alease Cole Andrews, 98, of Chesterfield County died Wednesday, April 12, 2006. She was daughter of the late Albert Cole and Etta Butler Cole, the widow of Aubrey Allen Andrews and was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Allen Andrews. She was the oldest of 10 children and was also preceded in death by six sisters, Nellie Bailey, Viola Tomberlin, Carrie Fortune, Ruby Phillips, Goldie Marshall and Ruth Jeffries; three brothers, Albert Cole, Benjamin Cole and William Thomas Cole. She is survived by two daughters, Edna Marie Vest of Chesterfield County and Thelma A. Blaha (Sonny) of Colonial Heights; six grandchildren, William Andrews, Howard Andrews, Patricia Breeds, Louis Vest, Henry Vest and Patricia Jackson Moody; two step-grandchildren, Gail Shelley (Randy) and Keith Blaha; twelve great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ann Cole and Louise Cole; numerous nieces and nephews; Many faithful friends, especially Robert Jackson and caretaker, Louise Parker. Mrs. Andrews was retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. and was a member of Epiphany Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 13 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 14. Interment will follow at Gill Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Chesterfield County. Flowers are acceptable or donations may be made to Epiphany Baptist Church, 19600 Halloway Ave., Petersburg, VA 23803.

We are so sorry to learn of your loss. Miss Alease was also such a sweet lady & it was wonderful to see her when she was able to come to church during the last few years. We had missed her as she was like a breath of fresh air with her sweet & loving personality. Our thoughts & prayers are with you & your family during this sorowful time. May God bless and wrap you in His loving arms and comfort you all.
