Condolences

My mother, Margaret,is in the hospital in Roanoke, VA. I had a call from Glady's Richardson, who could not reach mom by phone, she took the time to find my phone number to check on how Mom was doing. The next day,on Monday the 3rd,I called to tell her mom's room had to be changed and to give her the new telephone number and she told me that Lawerence, Pearl's husband had died. I was very sorry to learn that. My heart goes out to Pearl and to all the family. I know what you must have been through,as Mom was diagnosed with cancer and is having a very rough time now. There is no easy way to loose a loved one but cancer has to be one of the worst. I do wish Mom was healthier so I could bring her down to Petersburg for his service and to personally tell Pearl how sorry we are for her loss. If someone in the family reads this post I do hope you will share with Pearl that Margaret Leahman is very saddened to learn of his death and that she truly wishes she could be there with you. If Mom improves I will sure try to get her back to Petersburg where she can try and see Pearl.
